Your self image will determine nearly everything about you, and it holds the key to what you do ad become in life.

Including how you feel about yourself, your individual levels of success, who you think you are, your confidence levels, how you react in certain situations, your comfort level and much more.

Basically, it acts as the mental blueprint of your life and self worth and it is a very powerful part of you that can influence many of your actions, decisions and behaviors.

A negative self image can hold you back in life and stop you achieving the things you want to do and achieve.

How many times have you talked yourself out of doing something with the thoughts of

If you think your self image of yourself is holding you back then perhaps it's time to create a new positive and capable you.

If you want to be that person who is more charismatic, confident and self assured or you want to be more successful, then you first have to see yourself as the person you want to be.

It is time to start building yourself up, instead of knocking yourself down.

7) Use Positive Language And Intentions

Words are powerful so choose them wisely. Your spoken words or thoughts can either empower you and others tremendously or they can hurt and dis-empower you or others tremendously.

Your thoughts, what you say and what consumes your mind, has a direct link on your feelings, actions and behaviors.

Two of the most important words are "I feel" and these two words can be game changer depending on the statements that you use to follow them

We are always defining and describing how we feel all of the time. What is most important is, the words that we use to follow the words or thoughts. " I feel"

Try and follow the words "I feel" with positive statements.

  • " I feel great"
  • " I feel happy"
  • " I feel fit and healthy"
  • " I feel lucky"
  • " I feel abundant"
The words " I am" are also powerful, so again, follow them up with positive statements, about yourself.

You have not got to spend all your day saying affirmations. Just try and fit them into your everyday language or thought process and replace any negative or self limiting and self destructive words and thoughts, like:

  • "I can't"
  • "I'll never"
  • "Not"
  • "I don't"
  • "I am not smart enough/capable enough"
  • "I am useless/stupid"
  • "I know I'll fail"
  • "I am not good enough"
Because negative words and thoughts will program your mind to set you up for failure, make you feel inadequate and when you repeatedly say them they will attract negative outcomes.

Often you will hear people say things like:

"I don't want to be fat"

"I am not very good at"

A better way of phrasing these statements, would be:

"I would love a slim and toned body"

"I am more than capable of learning"

Try and phrase and describe everything, with positive words, thoughts and statements and introduce more positive and encouraging self talk and language.

The words, getting better, are two great words to describe yourself or your life.

  • "Things are getting better"
  • I am getting better"
“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior.
Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits.
Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”

8) Set Your Goals, Never Give Up And Let It Happen

Without goals we achieve very little in life. Everybody has a dream, but many give up, before they even start.

The fear of failure or a lack of self belief are two of the biggest goal destroyers.

You cannot achieve a goal if you're not prepared to step out of your comfort zone. If you listen to your negative self sabotaging voice or if you listen and obey all those negative what if thoughts, you'll never do anything.

You need to have a real worthwhile and personal purpose and burning desire behind your goal to inspire, drive and motivate you.

Avoid trying to take any shortcuts or quick routes to success. 

Success involves learning from your mistakes, evolving from failures, doing things well, overcoming challenges, coming through adversity, getting better and getting things right.

9) Face Adversity And Become A Better You

When things go wrong, as they do for everybody from time to time and you're not feeling to good or you're feeling broken, beaten or down on your luck.

Surrender and accept what has happened, express, feel and process the emotion, allow yourself a bit of time to feel down or disappointed. 

Then make it your intention, that something good or something much better is going to come from your adversity or bad luck.

Pick yourself up as quickly as possible. Sometimes, times of adversity present us with an opportunity to create or do something better in our lives.

People have have limitless talents, potential and creative powers that they don't even realize or know they posses right now.

In times of adversity, always remember that tough and hard times come along now and again. 

But also remind yourself that the rough times are not here to stay and they will pass and be replaced by better times or experiences, if you allow and invite them into your life.

10) Change Your Ways But Not Yourself

Although this is a self improvement site. The term self improvement can influence and impact you negatively.

What I mean by that is. It kind of suggests that there is something wrong with you, you need to change or you're not good enough, which certainly isn't true.

Thinking that there is something wrong with you can cause physical and emotional imbalance which can lead to all sorts of emotional problems and thoughts and feelings of low confidence and low self esteem.

You may need to change any bad habits, you may need to make some lifestyle changes and you may need to change the way you think and do things.

But the truth is. You already have everything you need, you are already potentially limitless, you are already good enough, smart enough and capable  enough. You just need to bring out and unleash that better you.

11) Learn More Skills

The more skills you can learn and the more knowledge that you can amass the higher your chances are at achieving more success in all areas of your life. 

Skills mean more success, more wealth, better career or promotion prospects and a better life experience.  

We grow and develop through learning. Learning new skills can also give you a sense of achievement and accomplishment as well as giving your life more meaning and purpose.

12) Be Creative 

You are a conscious creator, and deep within you, you possess more power and potentially than your everyday mind could possible understand.

We create through our desires, wants and imaginations.

As the saying goes

"You are only limited by your imagination"

You could add on, your also limited by your negative beliefs and your limiting programming. Most people use their imagination in self limiting and self defeating ways.

When you use your powerful imagination combined with your intuition and your all knowing mind, then there is nothing that can stop you.

To be at your creative and most power fullest best, you need to be in a feel god, flow like state of non resistance, where you just focus on the now and you allow your creative mind to work its magic.

13) Make The Most Of Your Time

Your time is very valuable and precious to you, so make the most of it, the old saying " Your life is what you make it". We all could make more productive use of our time. 

Although we need ample amounts of rest and relaxation, it is also important to keep your mind and yourself active and alive. 

It is also important to realize that what you give your attention to, you will get more of it, because what we focus on expands, this includes your happiness, how good or bad you feel and how successful you become, so it's really important.

Learn to simplify your life, because you have only so much time in your day so you need to prioritize what is important and what is not and what can wait. 

This may mean cutting back on your commitments, even letting people down and having a bit more me time.

As there are only so many hours in a day. If you want to get more done, you either have to learn how to be more efficient and work at your maximum peak performance rate.

Avoid trying to get too much dome to soon, if you have a big goal, focus on one step at a time instead of looking at the bigger picture to avoid overwhelming yourself.

The secret is to work smarter and not harder or trying to forcefully go faster. 

You can get more done and you will do it much better when you stop hurrying and you learn to stay calm as well as trying to enjoy what you're doing.

This way you will be surprised how much more you can get more done in the same amount of time.

14) Listen, Learn And Grow

You should never stop learning. No matter how much you know already, there is always an opportunity to learn more information and better your life skills, your work, hobby and goal related skills. 

Science is constantly discovering more, technology is forever advancing, as a human race we are figuring out more about the world and finding better or new ways of doing things, so don't get left behind.

The same applies to personal growth and development, and learning more about you and how to better your life will keep you feeling alive, energized and motivated. 

It is often preached, that we should learn from our mistakes, and this is definately good advice.

Because, uur mistakes and failures can be our greatest teachers and they can provide us with a vaulable lesson on how to grow and develop emotionally and intellectually.

But there is also a much better and faster way of learning and developing our skill levels and that can be achieved by learning from other people's mistakes and learning from other people's success stories and journeys.

You can save so much time, hardship and you can learn so much just by studying others and following these steps and principals.

15) Be Kind And Considerate To Others 

Be kind and considerate to others and yourself, sometimes when we argue we only see things from our point of view and we give very little attention to the other side of a disagreement.

Our egos can wreck relationships and friendships. Do not pursue your own interests or satisfy your own ego at the expense of others. 

Although we perceive ourselves as individuals we are all as one, treat others with respect and you will have more chance of them returning it back,

It is everybody's  duty to forget about their ego and pride every now and again and not deliberately go out of your way to treat others bad or cause them any harm. 

We all have feelings and we all deserve to be treated well, also try not to judge or prejudge others and if you can avoid focusing on their bad points and the negative side of people unless it is truly justified otherwise they might just keep on showing that side of their personality to you.

16) Unlock Your True Potential

Life can be tough at times and it is all too easy to fall into a rut. But you are far tougher and more resilient.

It is not about, what life throws at you, but how you learn to react to your challenges, failures and setbacks.

Hidden within you, you have more talent, potential, creativity and power than you might have thought.

Each time you get knocked down or you have a setback. Always vow to come back, stronger, better, wiser and more powerful.

To unlock your true potential, learn how to relax and get in the flow.  

Believe in yourself, focus on what you want and keep taking inspired action until you get to your desired destination.

Study, read and learn new skills and tap into your inner creativity, power and genius.

17) Change A Negative Mood

We all endure challenging times, we all have low moods, if you're feeling in a negative mood, except how you feel and express and acknowledge your emotions but never put up with a negative mood for long.     

Many people think that they have no influence on their moods and their mood just happen, so they just accept them or they wait for their mood to lift by itself.

But with a bit of practice you have the ability to change and influence your mood and when you know how to improve your mood, it will have a positive impact on your well-being, your quality of life and even your health.

There are many things that you can do to influence and change your mood, such as changing your thoughts and perceptions.

Another way to change your mood, especially if you're feeling bored or disinterested is to do something different, like going for a walk, listening to some upbeat music.

If you feel upset or negative, focus on or plan for a better future or imagine yourself relaxing in an exotic location and focus on how calm and good you feel or think back to a time when you felt really happy.

Laughing is a great mood booster and so is smiling for a few minutes every hour or so, or you could name five things that you are grateful for. 

Exercising is a good mood enhancer and eating a good, varied, well balanced healthy diet will keep you lean and functioning efficiently. 

As they say, "Yesterdays food is today's mood"

Sometimes food intolerance can leave us feeling low and lethargic. If you're having a real bad time, have a good cry and then tell yourself your going to put up with this mood, for lets say two days and then you're going to feel better. 

Find a way of relaxing deeply, stay in the now ad choose to be happy and make sure you do not become dehydrated. (Do not drink excessive amounts of water in a short period of time.)

18) Disappointments

In an era where we are being told to be grateful, many people end up trying to suppress their emotions.

First of all, it's good to be grateful and thankful as much as you can.

But, it is OK to feel a bit disappointed when life knocks you back, and you have every right to feel upset and disappointed at times.

Especially, when things aren't going as well as you would like, or if you have put in a lot of effort in your goals or a task, and you have not got the results that you want or expect.

So, if you feel frustrated or disappointed, express the emotion, stay with it and allow yourself to feel and experience the feelings, of disappointment.

But, make sure you don't stay with it for too long. 

Because after you have expressed and processed the emotions, accept your situation and either stop caring so much, or work on trying to do things better, or focus on coming back stronger.

19) Raise Your Energy Vibration 

When you raise your vibration all your dreams and desire will start to come true, you will have access to the universal conscious intelligent mind and your creativity and inner powers will increase. 

When we are in a state of flow and zero resistance and we are living the presence and peace of the present moment, not only do we feel good and perform better.

Our relationships improve, we become better company, our overall health will improve, we look and feel younger, more better ideas and opportunities will come and everything starts to work out better for us.

20) Take It Easy

So much of our stress and tension is because we are trying to pack too much into our day and these days, unlike our ancestors, most people live their life at a hundred miles per hour.  

Trying to rush, setting unrealistic deadlines or thinking and planning too far ahead all contribute to more stress and tension. Sometimes we need to breathe deeply and deliberately slow ourselves down a touch.  

You have to learn to take it easy, if you have a goal or task to complete take one step at a time and try to enjoy it.

If you think too far ahead and you focus on too many things in one go or you think about all the things you need to get done, it will begin to emotionally overwhelm you.

Avoid buying into the belief that you have to rush to meet work deadlines or personal jobs you need to do. 

You will get more done and you will do it better if you stay calm and you don't try to deliberately hurry, work smarter, not faster, and cut back on your to do list or allow yourself more time.  

Try not to be to hard, harsh or critical of yourself. Remind yourself, that you are doing your best and that is good enough.

21) Stop Trying So Hard

One of the most common mistakes people make, when they aren't getting the life, things or results that they want are. 

They convince themselves that they need to try even harder. Or they are too desperate to get the results that they want. Sometimes, wanting shortcuts or instant success, will work against you. 

It is sometimes better to. Slow down, think things through and take your time so you make sure you get it right.

Trying hard is an inner result reflection of how you're thinking and feeling, and it is a strong indication, that you're focusing, on what is not wanted and what could go wrong, instead of focusing what you do want.

The secret in life is not to try for perfection or putting too much pressure on yourself, the funny thing is when you stop trying to be perfect, perfection happens.

Release the urge to try to hard, stop trying to force things, just relax, take the pressure of yourself, let you know that you're doing your best and you are enough.

And when you get out of the way, and you allow things and life to happen naturally and intuitively.

You will switch over from your natural state of allowing and free flowing energy, thus disrupt your natural thought processes and smooth bodily movements and feelings. 

And what you will find is, you will do what you're doing better, you will effortlessly perform and to be at optimum and maximum peak performance best.

Trying too hard, will also lead to feelings of desperation, frustration and fear. 

22) Create A Positive Set Of Morning Rituals

The preparation for a feel good day should start the evening before.

Before you go to bed. Spend a some me time, winding down. 

Listen to some, relaxing music, before you fall asleep or listen to a hypnosis sessions, to ease your stress and quieten your mind.

Before you go to bed. 

Stand in front of the mirror. Look yourself in the eyes, smile and then say some positive and nice things about yourself/ 

Tell you.

I love myself, I accept myself and I approve of myself.

Then say some positive statements about you. Like.

  • I am good enough 
  • I am worthy enough 
  • I am smart enough
  • I am happy 
  • I am powerful
  • I am wonderful 
  • I am feeling great 
  • I am feeling healthy 
  • The best is yet to come
  • All is well 
  • Everything always works out for me
  • Today is going to be a great day

On awakening, do not just get up and rush out. Have a morning set of positive rituals.

Because, the first hour of your morning is important, to set yourself up for the rest of the day.

If you start off your day stressed, hurried and negative. You will risk, carrying that negative mindset and energy, throughout the rest of your day.

Allow yourself a bit of me time in the morning, to prime you up for the rest of your day.

On awakening. 

  • Find five things you're grateful for
  • Do your five minutes self esteem building in front of the mirror
  • Say your positive affirmations
  • Meditate for five minutes
  • Do some light stretches or have a quick light exercise workout
  • Visualize your day going well or visualize yourself calmly handling any challenges you have to face
  • Take no notice of any negative thoughts and keep the positive momentum going
Make sure you start your day off with a glass or two of water and a good healthy breakfast. A healthy smoothie, packed full of nutrients, will give you a boost of energy.

23) Trust Everything Will Workout For You

Life can be tough at times and you're going to have to go through hard times and struggles.

But you are way more resourceful and stronger than anything life can throw at you.

You cannot escape problems, upsets and challenges and you cannot always avoid emotional suffering and feelings of discomfort.

The sooner you can accept a bit of discomfort and suffering, then the quicker you will process those negative feelings and the quicker they will fade away.

During your day you're going to experience a range of different feelings and emotions, most people try to fight them or suppress them.

The truth is, you have not got to do this, because it is perfectly natural to feel uncomfortable, negative and anxious at times.

This is often because of the fear of a consequence. If you can remove the consequence, and one good way of doing that is by not caring or giving a dam.

Then what you will find is, the fear melts away. 

Keep asking yourself.

What is the consequence or what is the worse case scenario, then be OK with that.

During times of struggle, upset or adversity or when things are not going as well as you would like them to go.

Have a strong faith and knowing, of:

  • "Whatever happens, you'll be OK"
  • "Everything will workout for you"
Develop, an inner knowing, belief and trust that you'll figure it all out, you'll overcome your problems, things will work out fine for you.

To save yourself endless stress and emotional suffering, never try to resist, stop or suppress your thoughts as that is the worst thing that anyone could possibly do.

Instead, always allow your mind to think and experience anything that it wants, then as soon as you begin to relax, then you can change your thoughts, attitude and perceptions.

24) Only Deal With Things When Your Feeling Relaxed

If you want to perform better, improve your creativity, solve a problem, find an answer or tap into your true potential.

Then you need to learn how to relax first, because being calm is the key to all successes, discoveries and creativity.

Everything becomes easier when you're calm and balanced, 

  • Your performance levels will increase, 
  • You will function better,

  • Your intelligence will increase 
  • You will sleep better, 
  • You will be more confident  
  • Things will generally work out better for you.

When you're stressed and anxious life becomes harder and you will struggle to perform well, but when you slow down and you learn to relax.

Then the answers to your problems will come to you or you will find your problems just melt away into insignificance because a problem can not stay active without the fuel of negative energy.

25) Take Time To Meditate

You have probably already aware of how meditation can help you to reduce your stress and anxiety. But there are also many more positive health and emotional benefits you can gain from meditating.

Meditation helps you to calm your body and mind and restore you back to your natural and most productive and efficient state of inner calm and balance.

Meditation also helps you to become more focused, creative and intelligent. And in that deeply relaxed state, you will have access to the information and answers to your problems and challenges.

These days far too many people are suffering from too much stress and worry. Eventually, many people get stuck in a stressful and fearful state. 

To some people, stress becomes their normal state of existing, but it is far from normal and potentially very bad for your health, your well-being and your life.

Meditating for just ten to twenty minutes a day. Will help to restore your energy levels, calm your worried mind and leave you feeling calm and balanced.

When we find and follow our true purpose, your inner self will awaken and then the universe will guide you towards achieving and fulfilling it. 

27) Why Constructive Critism Is Not Always A Bad Thing

If you have a habit of harshly criticizing yourself or putting yourself down, then you should stop it immediately.

Because creation made you, and you are special, limitless and unique and creation does not get it wrong, so make the most of your talents and uniqueness.

If others are harshly criticizing you or saying nasty and hurtful things, then either speak to somebody about it or take no notice of them or start to stand up for yourself.

However, sometimes, a bit of constructive criticism, can be a good thing as it can be a way of others pointing out to you, things that you may need to change or address.

Therefore, if any criticism that comes your way is constructive, then use it to motivate and inspire you to do better and excel at the skills that you still may need to develop.

28) Listen To Your Body

Learn to listen to your body because when you experience pain, discomfort both physical and emotional it is your subconscious mind trying to tell you that there is something that needs addressing so try and uncover the root source of your problems and then address them.

When you're thinking about what you don't want your emotions will let you know that you need to change your perceptions or your focus of attention, when you're reliving negative or sad memories your emotions will remind you of how bad you felt at the time so give your attention to something more pleasant.  

When you're tired or exhausted, it means you need to rest and many skin conditions can be a result of a reaction to certain foods whilst stress is responsible for a large amount of illnesses.

29) We Think Too Much 

Overthinking can lead to feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stress, feeling bad, anger, frustration and anxiety.

Unless our thinking is constructive or positive thinking, it just leaves us going around and around in circles and getting nowhere.

Instead of engaging in what we are doing or engaging in our surroundings, we simply think to much.

There is nothing wrong with creative thinking, constructive and creative problem solving, and positive thinking makes us feel better and it opens up new possibilities and opportunities.

But, keep out of your negative past and avoid worrying about the future. Try and engage in the present moment and just engage yourself, in what you're doing.

30) Enjoy Your Personal Growth Journey 

We are all work in progress, no matter what you're attempting to be, do or become the secret to success is repetition, steady progressive continual improvements. 

When people have been on a self development journey for a while they forget how far they have come and how they used to be. Your journey should be made as enjoyable as possible.

Every successful person or high achiever had to start off at the bottom and work their way up to great success, you don't start off at the top, it's all about taking small steps. 

But you won't reach the top or achieve your dreams and ambitions if you don't take the first step.

Most people don't change until they are forced to change, but you don't have to wait to reach a point of desperation before you decide to make your life better.

31) Do The Things You Enjoy

You're here to enjoy yourself and not just please and conform to other people's idea's and ways of living their life. There is nothing more important to you than to feel good so you should make it your number one goal. 

Many self help experts suggest if you're not doing something to improve yourself, then it's not worth doing some even recommend avoiding doing activities like watching TV. 

Although it is good practice to keep on growing, learning and striving to be the very best version of yourself, you should also do the things that you enjoy and if you like watching TV then watch it. 

Be a bit selfish and put yourself first from time to time, if you like staying in, stay in if you like going out then go out more often.

Your goal should be doing the things you like and enjoy doing, things that give you joy and not do what others think is the right thing for you. 

So if doing things that is deemed boring to others, but it makes you happy then that it is improving your life and well-being.

32) Avoid Procrastination 

We all have chores, goals and tasks we need to do, if it is something that you feel passionate and excited about then it will be easy to motivate yourself to do the action part.  

But it is not so easy to get out of bed at the weekend to do the mundane chores and tasks that sometimes need to do such as house and garden maintenance or pursuing your goals when you feel tired. 

To avoid procrastination write a to do list or make one in your head, to avoid overwhelm priorities in order of preference and importance. 

You do not have to do your tasks every weekend, just make a plan and timeline of when you intend to do each job, this will help to get you motivated when the time comes. 

When you have to get started on something, be decisive, try not to spend too much time thinking about, just do it otherwise you will talk yourself out of it or you will come up with all the reasons why you don't want to do it.

33) Praise Yourself And Focus On All The Good You Do

What keeps most people stuck and negative is when they assume that there must be something wrong with them or somehow they are not good enough or smart enough.

But if you exist, then this means your equal to everybody else, you're good enough and you have limitless potential because creation makes everybody equal at source.

So it's time to forget about what has gone, what is going wrong or what could go wrong and focus all your attention on all the good about you and what can and will be. 

Get into the habit of spotting and focusing all the good things you do and all the great things you can achieve if you focus your mind with positive energy. 

Praise yourself up for everything you do well no matter how small, congratulate yourself and write down in a journal any progress or successes you have and you will be rewarded with positive feelings and appreciation for your true inner self and source.

34) Accept Yourself

Although it is good to strive to be the best version of yourself, and develop new skills and unleash your true potential.

The word self improvement, is often a bad choice of words, as it suggests that there is something wrong with, or somehow you're not good enough as you are, which is an outright lie.

So still want to do and be better, but always accept yourself for whom you are.

Because there is nothing at all wrong with you. 

You may have some negative beliefs and traits that you hold about yourself and your abilities. But, all the negative and limiting beliefs you have about you.

Are not yours, they don't belong to you, and they were bad suggestions and idea's, that you inherited from others.

Because, you are equal to others, just as capable, and just as good as everybody else.

So, let you know, that unconditionally, you love, accept and approve of yourself.

35) Start Applying Your New Knowledge 

Knowledge can be powerful but it is only powerful if you apply it to your life to make your life better. These days there are a lot of helpful information and advice available at the push of a button.

You should always carry on learning until you take your final breaths, but information and knowledge won't change or improve your life unless you start applying that information to your daily life. 

Because the application is what makes everything happens and gets thoughts into motion, because without application and the groundwork, change cannot happen and you will not get the life and the results that you're seeking. 

Information and knowledge helps us to learn new facts and help us to start to understand things, it can inspire us and activate positive inspiration and motivation which can bring to us new idea's and possibilities.

But if you want positive changes and you want to become more successful then you need to apply your newly discovered knowledge into action because all the high achievers turn idea's, opportunities and information into action and activity.

It is human nature to want to keep on growing, challenging yourself and expanding and everybody's primary number one goal in life is to feel good and to have the best life experience possible.

Therefore, instead of giving all your attention to, how bad you feel, what might go wrong, all that is bad or wrong.

Or rather than dwelling on the worse case scenario all the time or living in the emotional baggage of your past.

Why not make it your dominant intention to feel good and make it your number one goal, to keep on getting better and better at everything you do.

38) Keep Asking Yourself Empowering Questions 

The way to come up with a solution to a particular problem that you may have or if you're trying to work your way through a challenge is to ask yourself empowering questions.

Because every time you ask your mind a question and this applies to both negative and positive questions your mind has to search for and come up with an answer or solution. 

So if you need to solve a problem, lets say you want to lose weight ask yourself, then how can I type of question, but avoid using negative questions, like why am I overweight and instead said to yourself something like. 

How can I lose weight and become fit and healthy or let's say you want to have more money, again, don't focus on why you're skint or broke questions. 

Ask yourself what's the best way for me to make more money.

Although, asking the how questions can help solve a problem, for goal success ask yourself or to get the things in life that you want. 

Ask the why question, starting with.

"What can I do to......"

39) Tame The Voices Inside Of Your Head

That negative self destructive voice in your head is not you, therefore you should not allow it to diminish you and drag you down,

The best self improvement tip that I can give you is to stand back and detach yourself from those negative thoughts, suggestions and stories that cause all those negative and stressful emotional and physical reactions.

If you're having any negative or fearful thoughts and feelings. Accept how you're feeling, relax, take some slow deep breaths and practice relaxing and disconnecting yourself from your thoughts and feelings and then, let them go.

Just because you may have problems on the outside doesn't mean that you have to make it an emotional problem for yourself on the inside.

40) Prioritize Your Tasks

We all have chores and goals we want or have to do, but the more our tasks pile on top of us and the more we think about how much we have got to get done it can all start to feel a bit stressful and a bit overwhelming.

The key is to write a things to do list, and jot down in order of importance, all the things you want or need to get get done. List them in order of importance and priority.  

Then only focus and only work on one thing at a time or one step of your goal at a time, otherwise if you look to far ahead then it all gets a little bit daunting and overwhelming.

41) Experience A Bit Of Solitude

Although we are social creatures sometimes we could all do with a bit of solitude to grow, rest and to better ourselves. 

Having some me time and finding somewhere quiet and peaceful to retreat where there are no distractions and where you can either ground yourself with nature or connect deeply with yourself and your inner being can be an enlightening and relaxing experience which you can benefit greatly from.

Some individuals find it hard to switch off from their outer reality and everyday focus of attention so it might take a bit of practice. 

But a bit of peaceful solitude will help to reduce anxiety and your stress will melt away, plus it will help tap into your creativity and help you grow both spiritually and mentally. 

It's all about tuning out of your everyday stresses and tuning into who you really are at source, it's about having a bit of time to be yourself and recharging your batteries and becoming balanced and at peace. 

You can take a walk in nature or spend time in the country or you can just find somewhere peaceful to relax for a while. 

Lay down, put on your headphones and go to youtube and listen to some deeply, relaxing music.

Because you have to grow and build from within and strength, happiness, peace of mind and confidence all come from within.

42) You Are Responsible For Your Own Life 

You are responsible for your own life, your future, how you feel and to a large degree your own health, everything we do is a choice so choose wisely and healthily. 

In each and every one of us has a happy you, an angry you, a sad you, an anxious you a stressful you are and a successful you, so with that in mind choose to be the you that you want to be.

Being responsible for yourself, is not a bad thing, as it means you have full power of how you choose to think and feel, and you have total control of what you choose to do with your life.

43) Ask For Help

You are never alone and there is always universal help, waiting to help and guide you through the storm and into the light.

This could mean, asking for help from a friend or a professional or by doing some research or reading a book.

Or it can be found, by asking your inner being or the universe.

All you have to do is just, ask, and wait for your internal guidance.

The information, help or guidance may be downloaded to your through thought or you may be lead to the answer, information or guidance.

Therefore, do not feel to proud or embarrassed to ask for or seek out help when you need it because there is always help available. 

When you pose a question to yourself then your mind has to come back with an answer and your all powerful subconscious mind which is connected and has access to the unified intelligent mind.

So if you have a worry, a solution to find or problem to overcome.

Keep asking yourself searching questions starting with the why's, what or how's to your problems, goals and challenges or write what you want help with, on a piece of paper.

Typical types of examples could be, why do I feel sad, anxious, angry etc, what is the best way to and so on.

Try to stay out of your head, practice putting all your focus on external things instead of focusing on yourself.

44) Love Is All That You Need

The first step to becoming a better you, should start, with learning to love yourself unconditionally and loving yourself for who you are and learning to love life. Because love is the building blocks of the universe.

Love is the most power fullest of all emotions. Some people think fear protects you, but love is more powerful than fear, and it is love that protects you the most.

Fear attracts all the wrong things into your life and all the things that are not wanted. As, love attracts all that is good and all that is wanted.

Negative thoughts, things and negative feelings cannot exist in the frequency of love.

When you find, faults with you or you feel discontentment for yourself, you leave yourself open to more negativity and problems.

When we lose the love of ourselves and our life, we disconnect with who we really are at the source and we slam the door closed, on what we can be, have or achieve.

When you're facing a lot of challenges in your life, when you feel broken, stuck or you feel unloved and helpless.

Always, remember, that there is a higher part of you that loves you. In life, you cannot always depend on the love of others.

But whether you like to call the higher you. God, your higher self, your inner being or source. 

That bigger part of you, will always love you, always wants what's best for you and it is always there to help and guide you, through the difficult times.

When you start to truly love yourself and you find time to love all the good things that you have. 

Then you will begin to find inner peace and unlock all the inner potential that lies within, and a powerful sense of being, will awaken from within you.

Which will give you access to your true creative powers and unlock the unlimitless potential, opening the door, to a much better you and better ways of existing and living. 

When you let go of all negative resistance, and you let in more love. You will release all negative feelings and you will be able to let go of your limiting beliefs that restrict you and keep you stuck.

It will also reconnect you to, all the wonderful possibilities that are available to you.

45) It's Your Opinion Of Yourself That Really Matters

The criticism and negative suggestions from others about you and how well you have been treated can have a damaging impact on your self image, your self esteem and your self worth.

If you buy into the beliefs and comments made towards you by others, then this can cause you to have low opinions about yourself and it can cause negative self talk.

But remember it's your own opinion of yourself that really matters  so as long as you start to like yourself and you develop a strong and positive opinion and high regard for yourself then no one else can hurt you or keep you small. 

The single biggest thing in your life that will raise your self esteem and self worth is to master your self talk.

Because your inner self talk is the route to greater confidence, a better and more successful life and a greater you.

When things aren't going to plan, that old self defeating inner voice can start to tell us stories of failure or we're not good enough.

But remember that negative inner voice is not you, it does not belong to you, so start to override it and define yourself as a success and a worthwhile person.

46) The Importance Of Making Decisions

Before you can begin to change your life and your circumstances for the better. There is one important thing that you need to start doing, and that is. Make a positive and definite, decision.

Because it is decisions that change lives and situations and it is indecisiveness, that keeps people small and stuck. 

The moment you make a concrete decision. Your non physical side of you, sets the wheels in motion, for that decision, to become a reality. 

Your mind has to create the image of what you want or your vision, before it becomes a physical reality, so your mind, is the architect, of what's to follow. 

This is where all your true creative powers and problem solving abilities exist.

Whether you want to be more successful, make more money, advance your career, lose weight, overcome a problem, build a better body, stop a bad habit or learn a new skill. 

Things cannot change, until you make a firm decision and commitment that you're going to do, become or have what you want.

You can achieve anything you want or you can have a whole lot of things that you might have thought were out of your reach or beyond your capability, once you know how. 

But before you learn the how, you have to make a decision. Once you have made that all important decision or intention, that you're going to have, be or get what you want, without any doubt.  

To the expectation that it is a done deal and an ironclad certainty. Then, you will have taken that first all important step in achieving or having it.

So, if you would like to start living the way and life you want to live. Be more decisive. 

It does matter if you don't know how you're going to get what you, want, just take the first step and decide, the rest will fall into place as you go.

Just, know what you want, and decide firmly and definitely, with confidence, that you're going to get,  be or have what you want. 

Because those who live the life of their choice. Always know exactly where they're heading.

47) Create Good Habits

Nearly all our behaviors, actions, addictions and what we do both good and bad are the result of habits that we have repeatedly practiced doing for so long that they become things we do automatically and instinctively. 

If you have any bad or unwanted habits, then you need to replace them with good ones because some habits can be bad for your health, block your success and waste your time.

We can form habits of all kinds of things and reasons like, through fear or to help to keep us safe, a form of reward or pleasure even when the habit is bad for us.  

If you have a bad habit or addictions focus on the positive and health benefits you will gain once you given up or you have changed your habit

Every time you manage to succeed in changing your bad habits give yourself a small reward. Replace bad habits with good habits.

Change the way you do or organized things and practice repeatedly doing things on a daily basis that will create good habits instead of allowing bad habits to rule your life.

Make habits that will help you to take you towards the success you or life you want or ones that will move you towards achieving your goals

48) You Have Choices

No matter where you are in life or how bad your situation is remember that you always have better choices and other options and possibilities and if you take control of your life and situations then your life can and does get better. 

If you don't like your job you can choose to find another, if your hand around with negative or nasty friends you can make new friends and if your in a bad or abusive relationship you have the choice to break up. 

The key is to chill out about the things that are not in your control and learn how to change your perceptions and how you respond to them.

No ones own you and you always have the choice to live your life on your terms and if something is not good for you or working out for you then change it.

49) Look For The Positive

If you look hard enough, you will find that there are many good things to be found in this world and there are many good things about you, yet most people pick out one bad thing or experience and they give it all their attention. 

Try to look for the positive in each situation, look for the good in you and learn to focus on your strengths instead of your weakness and develop a positive and optimistic attitude that everything will work out even when everything seems to be going wrong.

50) Give Your Mind Clear Instructions

Most people allow their brain to influence their thoughts, feelings, decisions, behaviours and actions when what you should be doing is you should take control and influence your mind and thought patterns.  

Your mind is a very powerful tool when used correctly yet it can be your worst enemy when it is misused or left to think on auto pilot which can result in a life of misery, limitations and pain.

Get into the habit of thinking your way into alignment and flow and give your mind clear instructions of what you want because the secret to a more successful, happiness and a more fulfilling life is down to your focus of attention and telling your mind what it is you exactly want instead of focusing on what you don't want.

51) Read And Relax 

Warren Buffet who is one of the richest men in the world credits most of his most profitable money making decisions, down to reading approximately 500 pages a day.

Warren's principals, are. " Knowledge is a bit like compound interest. It builds up over time and pays you dividend".

Nearly all successful people, high achievers and business men/woman are avid readers, and reading is a great way to self educate you, 

Reading reading will stimulate and invigorate you plus it is also a great way to learn, grow both intellectually and spiritually and it will help you to become smarter, it is also a great relaxation therapy.

So, read as much as you can, read about the field that you're in or what you want to enter or be an expert at, read as many articles as you can and keep on amassing as much knowledge as you can.

If you can manage to read one book a week, that is 52 books per year. By doing this, just imagine how wise you will be, this time next year.

52) Enjoy Being You

Although socializing and having a network of a supporting family and a close circle of good friends around you is important, it is as equally as important to get to know yourself better and learn to like yourself and enjoy your own company. 

When you are alone in being nice to yourself and get to know the real inner you who is your loyal and true friend who is always with you so make peace with yourself. 

Find things to occupy yourself because your alone time is a great opportunity to learn and to get thing's done.

Having a good and meaningful relationship with yourself is essential for your well-being.

Talk to yourself like you would with a close friend and start to enjoy and make the most of your own company which has its good points because there will be no one to distract you or annoy you. 

53) Invest Some Valuable Time In Yourself 

The one thing that comes before success, winning and betterment is mastering your inner world. Because you are your biggest asset and this is why it is important to keep working on your own personal development.

Getting it right from within both mentally, and emotionally, so you are in state of physical and emotional balance and harmony is your foundation for a better you and a better life.

If you want to be the best you, be successful and achieve your goals. 

Then you need to be really serious about learning and doing whatever, it takes to achieve the levels of success or betterment that you desire and to live the life that you want to live.

If you are willing to invest some time, learning, doing and you stay focused on what you want. Even invest some money in your personal development, if you feel it will benefit you.

Then you are going to reap the rewards, later on down the line.

There is always room to grow and there is always more things to learn, do, discover and expand. Learning in itself is a skill

Sometimes things don't happen overnight and you will have setbacks and highs and lows on your journey to being a better and more successful you.

The thing to remember is keep investing in yourself and be persistent. If you are not getting the results that you want. 

Think about changing your strategies, direction and routines. Look after yourself and take good care of yourself.

Although you need plenty of rest and relaxation. Keep yourself and your mind busy. Your brain is a never stopping processing machine, so keep it occupied with the right information and learning.

A positive attitude and a success mindset is a must. Fill your mind with positive programming and conditioning.

This may mean replacing your old limiting beliefs, negative self and you negative programming.

54) Take Some Of The Pressure Off Yourself

We all have goals, we all want things and we all want to perform well, but sometimes our desire to have or be something can become so strong that we lose the enjoyment and our focus turns to more of a negative focus.

Set your objectives and intentions, aim for personal excellence, but enjoy the journey. At times we heap way too much pressure on our self to do well that it ends up causing more stress, frustration and tension which has an adverse effect on us. 

Wanting something or wanting more is perfectly natural, but when you want something too bad then it can cause you to either try too hard or become too desperate, which actually works against you by repelling and preventing you from having the success or things you want.

This is very common with sports stars who are very skillful and talented when they are practicing or when they are relaxed but as soon as they get to a pressured moment like when they are close to victory, the nerves and anxiety kick in and they all of a sudden fall apart.

To improve your chances of success, still want to win, do well or perform well, but take the pressure off yourself by taking away the importance, neediness, desperation and significance of the outcome with the attitude of your doing your best and your enjoying what you do. 

Do your best, allow for setbacks and focus on the area's you want to improve without any pressure attached, because wanting something too much can lead to feelings of desperation and frustration which can work against you. 

55) Positive Expectancy 

One of the most powerful creative forces in the known universe is the power of expectation, and this applies to both positive and negative expectations.

To achieve your desires, you have to set the universal wheels and energies in motion, and to increase your chances of you achieving your desires, it is important to expect what you want to happen, before it does happen with an unwavering faith and positive certainty.

Expecting your desired outcome before it has happened is the hardest part for many people, because it is human nature to allow what they are currently observing or experiencing or thoughts of lack and not happening to determine how they think, feel and act.

If you can see it, you can have or become it, your thoughts and feelings have creative powers, what you achieve will largely depend on your faith that you can and will achieve it, long before it has manifested.

So ditch the negative expectations, otherwise you will keep on getting more negative results and try to make it a habit to expect good things to happen, because winners expect to win and successful people expect to be successful.

So expect with confidence, and if you follow this policy, then bit by bit, more good things will start to come your way.

So let success in all you do, be your objective, focus on things going well instead of things going not well, focus on things getting better instead of things getting worse, and focus on feeling good instead of feeling bad and focus on doing well instead of not doing well.

56) Embrace Struggle And Move Forwards

Life is not always a bed of roses, especially if you have a goal that you want to fulfil or if you want to be successful.

Everybody gets it wrong, everybody struggles at times and everybody makes mistakes, so don't allow your failure to deter you.

To grow, you have to embrace your struggles and challenges and use them as your motivator, because our struggles and mistakes are an opportunity to learn, advance and grow.

Have faith and trust that you will come through your difficult times a much stronger and better, wiser you. Because, you are a resourceful and capable person.

Failure and setbacks can either defeat you and make you, small or you can learn to excel in challenging situations.

The formula for a better and more successful you, is to learn something from your failures, as well as trying to improve on your last attempt or effort, if you keep repeating this, you sure to succeed.

Because, it does not matter how many times you get it wrong, how long it takes you to master it or how many times you fail, as long as you keep getting back up, learning something and striving to be and do better.

To get better and become more successful and more confident, you have to sometimes step out of your comfort zone, face and overcome your fears so you can strive towards, accomplish your goals and ambitions.

Sometimes, you have to take full responsibility for your own mistakes and at times you need take full responsibility, for overcoming your problems. 

Because, if you do not believe in you and your abilities, and if you do not take responsibility for putting things right, then you will.

Have a strong belief in yourself and your ability to overcome problems and challenges. Make bold and positive decisions and intentions, and once you have made those decisions, don't look back.

The secret is to keep learning, as well as trying to keep on moving forwards in a positive direction. 

When you have a problem, let go of all those negative thoughts, and focus only on, finding a solution or getting better.

Sometimes, you have to accept, the situation, and move forwards, otherwise you will stay stuck, with the problem.

57) Replace Negative And Limiting Beliefs

If you want to become the best you or you want to learn new skills or be more successful. Then you first have to believe in yourself and believe you can. Because the believing is the halfway to the becoming.

To be the person you would like to be, to achieve a goal or to get the things that you want to. You have to take the necessary actions.

What motivates us to take action or even not take the action that we know is necessary, is our thoughts and feelings.

What determines our feelings is, our beliefs. 

Our beliefs are created by

  1. Our past experiences 
  2. Our conditioning and programming
  3. Our inner self talk
If you want things to change for the better. Begin to challenge and change your beliefs to more positive and supporting ones.

All things are possible, if believe. But, without the belief and faith it is virtually impossible to achieve or do anything.

The first step to the becoming and the achieving is having the belief. Belief you will be successful, believe you can, believe everything will workout and come good, even though you may have challenges and obstacles to face and overcome.

58) Stop Trying To Be Perfect 

One of the biggest mistakes you can make that can destroy your motivation, self esteem and self confidence. 

Is trying to be perfect or thinking that you need to be perfect when you're coming across socially, performing a task or trying to be more productive.

Perfection actually makes what you're doing much harder and prevents you from being natural and it has little to do with being more productive or doing things better. 

Perfection, actually has its roots in the fear of failure and people often aim for perfection because they think that they're not good enough or they're work or what they're doing isn't good enough.

There is nothing wrong with striving to be better or do better. But, when you become to obsessed with having everything being perfect and paying to much attention and detail to what you're doing.

Then it can hold you back and slow you down, make you feel more tense, frustrated and fearful and prevent you from completing what you're doing and getting started on something else.

Because, seeking perfection can make you set unrealistic expectations or set too higher standards for yourself that you cannot keep up. It can negatively affect you, your life, your performance levels and your quality of work.

Perfectionism, can create bad memories and fears, it can cause you to give up on doing things and it can make your life a misery, because you will react badly to setbacks, things not working out and failures.

59) Let It Go

Whatever it is that is bothering you, whatever it is worrying you or whatever it is that is causing you emotional suffering and upset.

Just surrender to what is, what has happened or the outcome that you don't want to happen or what you want to prevent from happening.

Because anything that is causing you pain, hurt or emotional suffering, is simply just not worth hanging onto.

All you're really doing, is:

You're holding onto a negative illusion, playing out in your mind.

Only give your attention or energy to things that make you feel good, what you want or neutral feeling thoughts, because you have not got to react or pay any attention to.

60) You're So Much Smarter Than You Think

There are no limits to what you can be, do or become. The only limits that you have are the the ones that you impose on yourself.

You are already smart enough. All you have to do to unleash your true powers, creativity and potential is to focus on what you want and spend some time and effort learning and practising.

If you have been told that you are stupid or you have been led to believe that you're not good enough or smart enough. 

Then dismiss those negative beliefs and suggestions. 

The only reason why you might not be very good at something is because you have not yet learned or mastered the skill or you have bought into those bad suggestions and comments.

You will be at your most smartest ad creative best. When you are feeling calm and relaxed and you are in the zone and flow state. 

Stress, tension and negative emotions makes us stupid and they block our true powers and capabilities.

61) Be The Real Authentic You

In this must look and appear perfect world, where we deem everybody as our judge and critic.

Many people feel that they have to impress everybody and they somehow need to come across as perfect and faultless all the time.

We seem to be living in a world, where we have to force ourselves to pretend to be someone we are not.

In the long term, it is not a good idea to try and fake it or attempt to be something you're not. 

Sometimes, because of our insecurities and we feel we need to impress others or follow the crowd.

The character and personality that we portray to the world, is not fitting and in agreement, with who we truly are.

But, trying to pretend that you're someone you're not, can become hard work and exhausting.

So always aim to try and be true to yourself, and never be afraid or ashamed to reveal the real you.

The true authentic you, is who you really are at the source and the very heart and essence of you. Where all your true limitless potential and hidden talents can be accessed.

The authentic you, knows your good enough, capable enough and worthy enough. Basically, the real authentic you, is the you, as you are, when you're feeling relaxed and your by yourself.

But, sometimes the real authentic you can become buried under, the physical you and what you have come to think and believe, who you are.

Like your ego and all the physical traits, negative self image beliefs and fears that you have picked up.

Trying to please your ego and others, can be on of the biggest causes of stress, negative emotions and anger.

63) Be More Independent And Self Indulgement 

Whether you are single or in a relationship from time to time it will not do you any harm to be more independent and self indulgent, do not feel embarrassed or ashamed to do things on your own, because nobody owns you.  

We grow stronger from doing things, so step out of your comfort zone and find out more about yourself and what you want, buy a ticket and hop on the bus or train by yourself as travelling is one of the best ways to learn and experience life more. 

You might feel a little apprehensive at first, but feel the emotions and still do it. You can learn so much more about yourself by going out alone and it can give your confidence a boost, make an effort to speak to strangers, especially if they are alone. 

Think about yourself more and put your needs first every now and again, if that means being a bit selfish, then so be it. 

If you have a point to make say it, you don't have to be argumentative or aggressive, but you also don't always have to hold back either. 

Sometimes you have to experience the bad to find the good, in time you will learn from your experiences what makes you feel good and what does not, so you will know what to do and what to avoid.

Acceptance is the quickest way to emotional freedom. This includes, accepting yourself, faults and perceived weaknesses, included.

If you are worried or anxious about what might happen or what might go wrong.

Accept the worse case scenario and be OK with it or deal with it. After all, all our worries are just an illusion of the mind.

Learn to accept yourself unconditionally. Because self acceptance will free you from much of your emotional suffering.

Work on what you can change and accept and let go of what you cannot change. 

Acceptance is one way to end emotional suffering. A couldn't careless attitude about what is bothering you, is another way.

65) Try Not To Focus On Yourself

One of the single biggest causes of emotional suffering and pain is when we put too much negative focus on ourselves or what we consider to be our weaknesses and flaws.

Another form of negative self focus is when we become too aware and too bothered by our negative thoughts and feelings which nearly always makes them worse.

Unless your inner self focus is positive or aimed at making you grow, try not to put too much attention on yourself and get out of your head and more engaged in the world around.

If you have a problem admit you have a problem, then either do something about it or seek help, if you're struggling, if things aren't going well or if you're going through a difficult time admit it and then plan for a better future.

66) Problem Solving

We all have our own personal problems and challenges in our lives.

When problem or challenge arises. The key is to immediately look for the solution rather than dwelling on the problem or stressing over the challenge you have to face.

Deal with your problem or challenge in the best and most calmest way possible. 

What you want to avoid is taking your external problems inside of you and allowing them to worry or stress you out, because the last thing that you want is to mess yourself up on the inside.

It is often said that the biggest battle that we have in life is the one that we have we ourselves. If what you're worried about is not going to harm you, then it should be seen as a challenge for you to overcome.

The best way to resolve a problem is to relax first and then when you have a clear head and a relaxed body, you will find that the universe will help and assist you.

Fighting, stressing out or getting frustrated, upset or annoyed is only going to make you feel worse, it solves nothing and it will only make matters worse.

In life you get more of what you resist.

  1. Accept that you have a problem that needs resolving
  2. Identify and pinpoint your problem or what is causing it
  3. Get out of the negative energy that is causing your problem and enter the calm states that will take you to the solution
  4. Put all your attention and energy onto focusing on the solution
  5. When you find the solution, take action and devise a new plan or strategy
  6. Implement your new plan of action
  7. Once you have done everything you can, let it go
You may need to evaluate your situation ask yourself a few questions. Like.

  • What, originally caused your problem 
  • Why have you a problem
  • What is the root cause of your problem 
  • How can you fix it, overcome it or do things better
Always work on how you can do better. If no solution is forthcoming. Then sometimes you have to let it go and work on changing the way you feel.

Start doing some research, and take any action that is required. You can also ask your mind, to find a solution to your problem or difficulties or if you need help.

67) Take A Positive From A Negative

Life can seem tough at times and we all go through challenging times, everybody has bad emotional  experiences that we have to deal with.

If you have had a bad or unpleasant experience, the thing is, try not to dwell on it. Because there is no little to gain through, through analyzing or over thinking what has already happened.

When you allow what is or what has happened to start to bother you, then your mind will see it as being significant.

The more significant you make it, the worse your issue becomes, and your mind will tag negative emotions to it which will keep you focused on what you don't want and it will hold the negative thinking patterns in place.

Whatever is bothering you, drop the matter or issue and let your mind know that, you'll work or figure it out.

We cannot always control what happens in your environment, but you can control how you react.

See the negative as an opportunity, to learn and grow.

If you want to get more done and be more productive, then it is important to make the most of the limited time that you have available each day.

Because there are only twenty four hours each day so if you want to be more efficient, if you want to get more accomplished, then you need to maximize your time. 

Getting more done should not involve rushing or trying to cram too much in, because that will just make you flustered and less in control. 

Good time management is all about being more productive in the amount of time that you have allocated each day and making the most out of your time.

Sometimes, slower, is quicker and more productive.

To get more done, you need to operate at your peak performance levels. 

Sometimes it's better to relax, forget deadlines and slow down to get more done or to do things quicker, because you will perform better when you're feeling relaxed but motivated.

The harder you try, the more difficult it is to perform well, and when you rush, you will just get more frustrated, stressed and things will tend to go wrong. 

The secret is to work smarter than harder, so instead of just rushing in or trying to force yourself to go quicker. Calm yourself down, take it easy and gradually build up your speed naturally. 

Work at a pace that suits you, make yourself comfortable, because when you feel relaxed and comfortable, you will find your optimum peak flow performance level. 

Instead of seeing things as a choir, learn to enjoy what you're doing and you will find you will do it so much better and more efficiently, and you will get better results.

69) Be Proud Of Yourself

We're all very good at beating ourselves up, we all put ourselves down too much, we're all far too hard on ourselves and we're all our own biggest critics

But all this self knocking of ourselves can erode our self esteem and self worth. So isn't time people started praising themselves up a bit by starting being kind to themselves and definitely started to feel more proud of themselves.

Because if you want to be more successful, happier and you want to boost your self esteem levels, then it is essential to appreciate your efforts ad vital to feel proud of yourself and all of your achievements, no matter how big or small they are.

Your inner self will reward you when you feel proud of yourself and your achievements and it is a vital element in building your self respect, self esteem and your self worth. 

The good things are, your mind will react the same way, if you're feeling prouder of the little things that you have done, than it would if you had accomplished a big achievement.

Therefore, praising yourself up for the small things will bring about the same positive results as being proud of the big things.

70) Have A Growth Mindest

Without having a growth and success mindset it is very hard to be successful and to live the life that you want.

A negative and limiting mind is a toxic and unhelpful mind and a negative and ordinary mindset will not guide you to the live the life of your deepest dreams, ambitions and true potential.

To begin to develop a growth and success mindset

Focus on all the good things that you have already achieved or accomplished.

Also, get into the habit of praising yourself up and being proud of yourself, even for those little achievements. Because it does not matter how big or small or accomplishments are, that counts.

What you're looking for is. Boosting yourself and creating a growth and success mindset that will catalyst you to achieve bigger and better things.

In fact, it is not about what you have achieved, it is about creating the positive energy, sense of achievement and building your self esteem and self confidence.

Instruct your mind to bring you what you want and always focus on what you want.

71) Express Your Emotions

Although it can help to express your emotions.

There are much better alternatives, such as:

  • Learn how to be mindful, so you can control your emotions, so you don't get too emotional aroused in the first place
  • Learn how to change the feelings
Things like self hypnosis, exercising, good poise and balance and meditation are great ways of changing the feelings.

If you're feeling anxious you can acknowledge it. "Yes, I am feeling anxious right now, then embrace and feel it, then say, how I want to feel is peaceful and calm".

You can do this with any negative emotion. We all have bad experiences, how you react to these situations and how you perceive them is the key.

If you do not process or let the emotion go, you will stay stuck in a bad feeling place.

Write down on a piece of paper, or keep a diary, and jot how you feel or how you felt at times during the day, especially if negative things happened to you. 

Then in another column, write down how you would like to feel, react or behave. Sometimes your emotions could be telling you, that you need to think differently or find a better feeling thought.

A simple change of attitude and perception, can help change the feelings.

If you are experiencing negative or fearful emotions.

Do not try and fight, suppress, numb or attempt to block them out, neither try to immediately change your thoughts or feelings.

Feel the feelings and just relax around them and your thoughts and then surrender to what is or what is bothering you and let it go. 

Changing your physiology, can also change your mood.

Just by applying your inbuilt natural bodies calming devices can help to change your feelings, such as

  • Taking some slow deep breaths

Throughout our early years and onwards we have often relied on others to help us out, comfort us or solve our problems.

When you were a baby you were totally reliant on your parents and then at school, you were educated by your teachers and society, and the life skill information we needed was not always available to us.

The only problem with relying on others for help or advice is, we can struggle to solve our own problems and challenges.

Today, however, the information is readily available to nearly everybody and there has never been a better time to self educate yourself. Thrive on learning new things and new skills.

So if you want to get fitter, improve your health and lifestyle, become more successful, learn a new language or develop a new skill, solve a problem, or you need help and support, then get into the habit of asking yourself questions or research and study the topic or subject that you want to know about.

73) Relax Yourself Before A Stressful Situation

It is perfectly normal to feel a bit of mild discomfort before a challenging situation or event, but for some, these types of situations can cause a lot of stress and a full out anxiety attack.

If you feel anxious and tense before a particular situation, then somehow you have managed to condition your mind that the forthcoming stressful situation is threatening.

What you need to do is to start to condition your mind to associate the stressful situation as being none threatening.

Do a little bit of preparation before the challenging situation, so just before you face the challenging situation.

Relax and ease your muscles and take some slow and controlled, long, deep rhythmic breaths, make the out breath longer and push all the way out, as this will help you to condition the mind that the situation is safe.

Again, before you enter the stressful situation, imagine that it has already happened and you have already come through the situation and everything went well.

74) Cut Out The Self Blame

No matter how hard you try. 

There will be times when you struggle, And, no matter who you are, you will get off days and things will go wrong.

The key is to try and make sure you do not allow what has happened on the outside to mess you up or upset you on the inside.

Otherwise you can soon fall into the trap of the victim mentality, and it is easy to start to play the blame game.

This can lead you into accepting and believing that there is nothing that you can do, when in reality there are always plenty of better options, opportunities or alternatives.

When we blame ourselves or we get upset and frustrated because we have not reached the levels we want or we are not getting the results that we expect.

Then it can lead to self blame, disappointment, believing that we are not good enough and even mild depression.

You will find that you will benefit more from a bit of friendly self encouragement and self praise.

Just have faith through the bad times, keep doing your best, take one step at a time and vow to turn your adversity and failures into success.

But most importantly of all keep your spirits up during those difficult times and enjoy your life experience and every time life knocks you down, come back more powerful, stronger and better.

The way to overcome fear and anxiety is to face the feared situation.

Then, "Embrace and feel the fear, without judging or resisting and just let it happen".

Use your fears to motivate you to grow in confidence and use it to spur you on to take action and do what you want to do. 

76) Turn Your Idea's Into Actions

We all have ideas, and good idea's can lead to many good things.

Have you had a good idea that your gut intuition was telling you to follow through with it, but you let the opportunity to pass.

Idea's are the foundation of every material thing that has ever been created or made, but although you need an idea to create, idea's are useless without actions.

Because it is not the idea that is the most important thing, we all have idea's all the time, it is what you do with the idea that matters.

The best time for new creative idea's is to focus on what you want, then find somewhere peaceful and quiet, and relax deeply, because idea's and creativity flow, when you're at your most relaxed.

Keep a pen and paper with you, so you can then jot down your idea's, then follow them up with inspired action.

77) Savor All The Good

With all the doom and gloom going around, combined with all of our everyday problems and challenges. It is very easy to fall into the negativity trap and worse case scenario mindset.

Many people have gotten into the bad habit of dwelling on, or holding on to the bad and ignoring all that is wonderful and good.

Focusing on the bad, makes you feel bad, but you can change this habit and start to feel better, by starting to focus on all the good.

If you look for it, then you will find plenty of things that are good. 

All you, have to do is. Find something beautiful, something that you have done well or something that is positive and keep your attention on it for a minute or two.

This can be something that you're observing in nature, like a beautiful flower or butterfly, animals or scenes of nature. 

A special or funny moment, a photograph of a loved one, something you're grateful for or something that you have done right or well.

It does not matter what it is. Anything good will work, just get into the habit of holding it in your awareness, and milk the moment. 

This will help you break the negative patterns and habits as well as, help you to be more creative, more productive. As well as boosting your mood.

78) It Is You That Really Matters

All material things are temporary and although it is important to have the best life experience as you possibly can, the thing that matters the most to you is you.

There is an old saying which states, "There is nothing like your first love"

And it is true to a degree, your first love is special, but a physical relationship is not your first love, your first love is the love you have with yourself.

Because the love you have with you is eternal and unbreakable and unlike physical love with another person which is an expression of your love, which can be taken away from you at anytime.

Nothing can ever take away the love your inner being has for you, because the inner you is always there for you and it will never let you down

So learn to love you, like you and make peace with yourself.

Make your mind a place of peace, release all pain and let go of all suffering and find your happy place, learn to love yourself and your life.

You will find your true happy place, when you stop allowing outside situations and circumstances from upsetting you, and when you can feel good internally without relying on anything external.  

79) Get The Positive Momentum Going

Life is all about momentum and direction and nearly everybody has momentum going on in their lives. 

There are only two types of momentum. You have positive momentum and negative momentum, positive momentum will make you feel good and it will move you in the right direction and towards where you want to be in life.

Whilst negative momentum will make you feel bad and stressed and it will take you further and further away from the place you want to be and feelings you want to experience.

So get that positive momentum and mindset going, and never again allow your mind to wander on to the negative.

80) Decide What You Want To Be, Have Or Do

Nobody is born successful, skilllful or confident, it is a skill like all skills that they have learned and developed.

A good place to start is to begin to change all the I can't to I can learn, change all the I wish, for, I will find a way.

Successful and confident people, think differently to normal people. Successful people have to go through the process of learning and they face the same problems and challenges as those who are not successful.

The only difference is. The confident and successful person, won't shy away from a challenge and they will learn the skills and do whatever it takes, to take them to the next level and bring them the success that they are seeking. 

Whereas, the average person will hesitate, and think themselves out of doing things. They will come up with all types of excuses. 

Like, I am not the type of person, what if, I can't, which will prevent them from attempting to learn the skills or become successful.

The successful and the high achievers, however. Will make it their intention. To learn the skills, figure it out or develop the confidence and winning mindset they require to better themselves..

Anybody, can become more successful, better themselves, become more confident or learn new skills.

So instead of shying away, from new challenges. 

Make it your mission and intention that

  • You're going to learn the skills you need 
  • You're going to build your confidence, in the area's where you feel you need more confidence 
  • You're going to be successful
81) Learn How To Relax 

Some people see relaxation as a luxury thing they do now and again, others deem relaxing as being lazy, thinking they need to keep busy or they should be doing something better, with their time.

However, relaxing is a necessity, not a luxury and it is essential to reduce stress and anxiety and promote good health and emotional well-being.

Our bodies need to relax deeply, so they can rest, calm down and repair and if you set aside some time to relax and unwind, before you go to sleep. 

You will get a good quality night's sleep and you will wake up feel, calm, refreshed, empowered and energized, ready to take on the challenges ahead. 

You cannot always control your outside circumstances, but you can change the way you react to them and your thoughts. 

Avoid the urge to rush, when you feel the urge to rush, just pause for a minute, and try not to let people and your external circumstances to control how you feel and react, deliberately slow yourself down. 

82) Try And See the Funny Side Of Things

Sometimes we can, put too much focus and effort on our goals, or what we don't have, what is wrong and life in general. That we can tend to take ourselves and our lives too seriously. 

When we are facing adversity, when we get things wrong, when we make a mistake or embarrass ourselves. 

We tend to allow these events and we react to things, as it is then end of the world, type of scenario.

But, sometimes it is better to try to laugh things off, and attempt to see the funny side of things.

You can even try and see the funny side of some of your problems and perceived weaknesses, as this can help you to feel better and even assist you in resolving your problem.

In the end you cannot get everything right first time all the time. 

83) Calm Your Worried Mind

Many people want t know how to stop worrying. The secret is. You should not try to stop worrying.

Instead. Just leave your mind alone, don't react to your thoughts and your mind will quickly calm down by itself.

What most people do when they start to feel emotionally aroused is they start to engage with their mind.

The secret to stop worrying is to quieten your mind, but you cannot quieten your mind if you try to stop worrying, it just creates a vicious circle. 

The more you try not to think those worry thoughts the more worry thoughts you will create.

If you have a problem. Immediately work on treating and fix the root cause of your problem at is most fundamental level. Accept yourself, faults including.

Often you will find accepting and being OK with what you're worrying about will fix your problem. Sometimes a change in thinking a change in your attitude and change in your perceptions is enough to ease your worried mind.

When your mind is worried. It is expecting something bad to happen. Telling yourself that. 

"Whatever happens you'll be OK" can calm a worried mind.

84) It Is You

Knowing that you become and you get what you believe. Then it makes sense to start believing that you can, you are on the way to becoming or you're already good at, what you want to do or be.

Let's say you want to become a great writer.

Start to believe that you are already a great writer. 

Change all those I can't to I can or I can learn. And start saying I am good at or I am becoming better at.

85) Keep Fit And Healthy

"Prevention is always better than cure"

The best way to live a long and healthy life is to take good care of yourself and keep yourself fit and healthy now.

Far too many people take their health and fitness for granted and unfortunately many don't do anything until something has gone wrong. 

Cardiovascular exercise is essential when it comes to your fitness and health. It can also improve your mood and keep your body flexible.
Cardiovascular exercise can help to increase your heart rate as well as supplying oxygenated blood to your lungs and muscles.

The good thing about introducing a bit of cardiovascular exercises into your daily routine is. You do not have to spend hours jogging or working out in the gym.

Some of the benefits you will gain from cardio exercising can be. 

It can help to better your immune functioning, help burn of a few calories, increase your fitness and endurance levels, improve your health, help to lower your blood pressure and even increase your life expectancy.

Adding three ten minute brisk walks, combined with healthy eating can make all the difference to your life.

Or if you like to go for a longer stroll, during your walk. Have a ten minute faster burts, where you get your heart pumping.

The same applies if you are riding your bike. Add a ten minute burst of speed.

86) Breaking Down Your Goals

If you have a big goal or tasks that you want to achieve. 

Write down your goal on a piece of paper or visualize your end goal as already complete and accomplished.

Then break down your goal into small baby steps and then focus on taking one small step at a time, as this will prevent feelings of overwhelm, stress and emotional overload.

87) Avoiding Emotional Overwhelm

In your quest to be successful or even in your daily life.

Sometimes your goals, tasks and wants, require so much of your time and attention. Add on top of this all your work or college commitments, chores, bringing up the children and so on.

It is no wonder so many people are suffering with emotional stress and overwhelm.

There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day and just the mere thought of all the things that we have to do or what we want to do can send our mind into overdrive.

Causing us endless emotional overwhelm, stress and tension.

The key is to take one step at a time and to tackle one chore at a time. 

Refuse to rush. if you feel the urge to rush. 

Just stop and pause for a minute, relax and take a few deep slow breaths, too cease the emotional arousal and stress. Then carry on with what you have to do.

The thing to be aware of is. How you feel is what matters the most and the calmer you feel, the better you will perform or do the task in hand.

Make a list of all the things that you want to do or need to do. 

Then prioritise that list in order of importance. Focus your attention on one task at time.

Don't allow your mind to go into emotional overdrive and work at a pace that suits you, if you feel you've had enough, take a break or call it a day.

90) Accept Uncertainty

The human mind does not like the unknown and uncertainty. It likes things the way they are, even if it goes against what you really want and desire.

Therefore, sometimes when you make changes or attempt something new, you will be greeted by negative resistance.

Fear of failure and fear of not being good enough is probably the biggest thing that holds people back, destroys their self confidence and stifles their growth and denies them access to their true potential.

Often we hold back, because we fear something even though we know logically that there is really nothing to fear.

91) Voice Your Opinion

How often have you wanted to say something.

But, the thought of upsetting someone, going against the crowd or being seen as different from the norm, prevented you from saying or expression your opinions or getting your point of view across.

Your voice and opinions matter and it is important that you express your views, opinions, knowledge or point of view.

You have not got to disagree with others, try and change their beliefs or try and get them to agree with you. Because when you do that, then it will cause you negative resistance, annoyance and frustration and it end up, will hurting you.

All you true powers and talents can be found and accessed in the now and you can only experience negative and fearful emotions if you revisit your painful past or you worry and stress about the future.

It is important for you to express your views and opinions because your voice and and what you say counts, especially if you feel passionate about something.

One of the worst things that you can do that will cause you a lot of negative resistance, frustration, anger and stress.

Is trying to change people's beliefs and opinions and trying to get them to agree with you or trying to change people or make them come around to your way of thinking and doing things.

People do not like being told what to do or how to think. So have your say, but try and avoid arguments and say it in a calm tone of voice and then let it go.

94) Make Gradual And Progressive Progress

We learn and get better through a process of repetition and practice.

The sooner you start doing the things that you want to do, the sooner you will become that person or the sooner you will master that skill or talent.

You become the you who you want to be or you become an expert at what you want through a gradual process of progressive learning and doing.

The more you read, study and learn and the longer you work at something the better you will become at it.
